At the Swiss Military Museum, located in the Swiss town of Full, during autumn 2007, restoration work has started on a German Tiger II or Kingtiger tank of World War II fame. This is one example of only a handful of such vehicles existing worldwide. And it's our goal to restore it, not only so that it is visually perfect. but also to bring it back into full working and running order! Such a restoration project, in particular the overhaul of the enormous Maybach V12 petrol engine and the complex transmission, as weil as the acquisition of missing and remanufactured parts, involves immense expense, despite the many thousands of working hours given generously by our voluntary staff. That's why we need your support! The membership in our Kingtiger team will give you the opportunity to support its complete professional restoration and therefore the preservation of a unique masterpiece of warfare and history. To pay tribute to your support as a member of the Kingtiger team you will receive an appropriate certificate and, as a sign of your affiliation, an exclusive team cap. According to the amount of your contribution you will be informed yearly about restoration progress, wh ich will not exceed 5 years, as weil as you will be invited to special events.
